The party was fun!! Thank goodness I’m on break right now or I don’t know how I would have gotten it all done. First we have the decorations, they are pretty much the same as last year with the exception of the green spider web hung all over the living room. I just love this boo banner.

Then we had lots of food, of course.
The veggies and sandwiches came out first:

There is no such thing as a Halloween party without bloody fingers:

or meatballs eyeballs:

Then we had some treats. Here are Alexander’s version of bugs on cookies:

Alida’s animals that got stuck in the mud:

and Alida’s and my version of a spider carrot cake: (Barb another for you)

We played a few games and put our hands into a bowl full of eyeballs:

and a bowl full of worms:

We then were off trick-or-treating where we ran into some neighbors out doing the same.
Alida left the house for kindergarten yesterday morning as a princess:

When she got home she was Snow White for the party. Alexander wouldn’t be anything else but Harry Potter just like last year:

We had another Harry Potter, another princess, a goblin, a skeleton and two witches join in on the fun. Oh there was also a baby as himself. My good friend who came with her children, she’s German so this is not something she usually does, came without a costume, so luckily I had a spare witch hat for her. Hehe! I was Laura Ingalls again for lack of time to make something new. This year my hair was long enough to make two side braids which made it complete.

I hope you all had a scary but fun Halloween too!
